Western Bulldogs ruck Jorja Borg will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2024 NAB AFLW season after scans confirmed an ACL injury.

Borg sustained the injury to her left knee in the opening quarter of Friday’s Grand Final Eve win over Sydney.

“It’s incredibly unfortunate news for Jorja - we’re all devastated for her,” General Manager Women’s Football, Patrice Berthold, said.

“She was playing a really important role for us this season, and while this injury is a significant setback, we have no doubt she will attack her rehab with her usual resilience and professionalism.

“We’ll give Jorja all the support she needs throughout her recovery process.”
