The Western Bulldogs have secured their spot in the VFLW Grand Final after an enthralling match against Williamstown at ETU Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Bulldogs came out dominating from the get-go, securing a 2.4 (16) to 9.6 (60) victory in the Preliminary Final.
An exciting first half ensued as the Bulldogs displayed elite forward-half pressure to secure an early lead.
Scores from Mali McLeod, Mary Sandral and Mia-Rae Clifford allowed the Dogs to kick away with three unanswered goals before Williamstown responded mid-way through the second term.
The Dogs continued their pace with controlled ball movement in the second half, keeping the Seagulls goalless for the remainder of the game.
Keeley Hardingham performed exceptionally, finishing with two goals, 16 disposals and 19 hit-outs.
Sarah Skinner and Tamsin Crook were the major ball winners for the Dogs, racking up 18-disposals a piece.
The Dogs will now prepare to face North Melbourne in next week’s VFLW Grand Final at ETU Stadium.
