The Western Bulldogs extended their VFLW winning streak to six with a commanding 71-point victory over Geelong at Avalon Airport Oval on Saturday afternoon.

In a dominant display, the Bulldogs triumphed with a 12.7 (79) to 1.2 (8) win, solidifying their position for the finals.

With phenomenal end-to-end transitions and attacking play, the Dogs held the Cats scoreless until the final term.

The opening quarter saw the Bulldogs asserting their dominance early, leaving Geelong struggling to make any impact.

Their relentless pressure ensured a commanding 24 to nil lead at quarter-time, setting the tone for the rest of the match.

The second quarter continued in the same vein, with the Bulldogs executing precise plays with back-to-back goals from Mia-Rae Clifford widening the margin.

By halftime, the Dogs had built a substantial lead, leaving Geelong with a steep uphill battle.

Despite the Cats making more attacking plays in the second half, the Bulldogs' strong defence and coordinated team efforts kept them well in control.

In the closing stages, Mali McLeod and Jaimi Tabb delivered stellar performances, each securing a goal just before the final siren. 

Key players included Keeley Hardingham, who managed 15 disposals, five tackles and 28 hit-outs.

Millie Klingbeil strung together one goal and a game-high 22 disposals, while Tabb shone with three goals from 13 disposals and 11 tackles.

The Western Bulldogs will look to maintain six-game winning streak when they take on Darebin at Genis Steel Oval on Saturday.
