The Western Bulldogs have registered back-to-back wins following a 25-point win with Box Hill on Sunday afternoon at Mission Whitten Oval.

In a thrilling display of skill and determination, the Bulldogs emerged victorious with a resounding 8.7 (55) to 4.6 (30) triumph, led by the outstanding performance of Ellie Blackburn.

The match commenced with the Bulldogs asserting their dominance, particularly in the first quarter, where they surged ahead with three goals while limiting the Hawks to just one.

However, the intensity heightened in the subsequent quarters as both teams engaged in a competitive battle, with goals proving hard to come by until the latter stages of each quarter.

Blackburn was arguably the game-changer, booting four goals to go with 20 disposals and five clearances.

Other notable standouts included Vaomua Laloifi, registering the equal-most disposals on the ground (23), in addition to nine hit outs, four marks and one tackle.

Jaimi Tabb made her mark with one goal from 16 disposals, nine tackles and four clearances, while Sarah Skinner displayed her versatility with 12 disposals and six tackles.

A special milestone was also celebrated as Tasmin Crook marked her 50th VFLW game, becoming the youngest player to achieve this milestone at just 21 years old.

With this impressive win against the then ladder-leading Box Hill Hawks, the Bulldogs will next aim to extend their winning streak as they face Port Melbourne away on Friday night.
