It was the Western Bulldogs midfield stocks that won out the top five Toyota AFL Dream Team scores against Carlton on Saturday night.
Ryan Griffen led the charge, taking over from Captain Matthew Boyd, with a 109 point haul.
While he could not slot through a goal from two attempts, his six marks, eight i50s, 28 disposals and three tackles bolstered his score.
Nineteen year old Mitch Wallis ($377,400) ranked second this week, just scraping through for a Dream Team ton with 101 points.
Averaging 94.7 points in the past three weeks Wallis is finding form at the back end of his second season - this year to date his price tag has increased over 54%.
Also scraping through for a Dream Team ton is veteran Daniel Cross who managed 100 points clear against Carlton.
His 26 disposals, ten marks and six one percenters saw him score 100 or more points for the fifth time in six weeks.
Dominating in the ruck this week was Will Minson with 54 hit-outs and four clearances to his name - scoring an honourable 99 Dream Team points.
Taking over first ruck duties in Season 2012, Minson’s Dream Team stocks have risen dramatically - last year he scored over 90 points on only one occasion whereas this year he has reached the milestone seven times.
Rounding out the top five is clearance machine Tom Liberatore ($360,000) with 95 points.
Ten clearances, nine marks and 28 disposals boosted Liberatore’s Dream Team score this week making his average for the past five rounds 87 points.
