The Western Bulldogs Community Foundation is thrilled to announce the launch of its inaugural awards program, designed to celebrate and recognise the inspirational champions of the west.
This landmark initiative seeks to honour individuals, groups, and organisations that have made significant contributions to enhancing the lives of those in western Victoria, fostering a spirit of community, inclusivity, and support.
Over the course of the year, the WBCF awards will shine a spotlight on those who tirelessly work towards bettering the community in four key sectors - Gender Equity, Cultural Diversity, Youth Empowerment and Mental Health care.
Eligibility and Nomination Process
Eligibility spans across residents, workers, or students across the west of Melbourne & Victoria and will award both individuals and organisations. Click here to view the full eligibility criteria.
You are able to nominate for as many of the awards as you see fit.
Nominations are now open for the Women of the West and will close on the 16th February, with the award to be presented at our International Women's Day event on the 4th of March.
Nominations are also open for the Cultural Diversity Advocate of the West and will close on the 8th March, with the award to be presented at our Cultural Diversity event on the 20th March 2024.
This awards program is not just an opportunity to acknowledge the achievements of extraordinary individuals and organisations, but also a platform to inspire others to engage in community service and advocacy.
The WBCF is proud to support and promote the values of diversity, equity and inclusion through this awards program, reinforcing our commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive community.

We encourage everyone in the community to get involved by nominating someone they believe is making a real difference in the west.
