Western Bulldogs AFLW midfielder, Emma Kearney has been nominated for the ‘One to watch’ award at this year’s Women’s Health Women in Sport Awards.

Nominated for her efforts with the Bulldogs throughout the AFLW season as well as her involvement with the Melbourne Stars women’s cricket team, Kearney impressed across both codes in 2017.

Receiving the Western Bulldogs AFLW Best and Fairest award in its inaugural year alongside Ellie Blackburn, Kearney has fast become a household name in the AFLW world.

Now in their seventh year, the Women’s Health Women in Sport Awards aim to recognise Australia’s female elite athletes.

All award winners will be selected by a panel and will be announced at the annual Women's Health Women in Sport Awards event, in October.
