Western Bulldogs forward Belinda Smith will miss the remainder of the 2019 AFLW season, after rupturing her left Achilles Tendon during a VFLW practice match on Sunday morning.
Smith underwent surgery on Tuesday afternoon to repair the tendon and is expected to recover within the next 4-6 months.
Smith was selected by the Club as a free agent in June 2018, after two seasons with the Fremantle Dockers.
