Jorja Borg is officially a Western Bulldogs AFLW player after being selected by the Club with Pick 48 in the 2023 AFLW Draft.

Borg is no stranger to the red, white and blue, having debuted in round eight this season as a train-on player against the Swans.

Plucked from the Bulldogs’ VFLW program, where she is the reigning Club Champion, Borg enjoyed a dominant state-league campaign this year.

The ruck averaged 30.4 hit-outs, 10 disposals and three tackles from her 14 VFLW matches, named in the VFLW Team of the Year for her efforts.

The 25-year-old was previously on Essendon’s senior list for their inaugural season, but injury hampered her chance at debuting.
