McDonald’s Australia will continue as a Gold partner of the Western Bulldogs until 2027, after the confirmation of a four-year partnership extension this week.

McDonald's first engaged officially with the Bulldogs in 2020, as the Club and football industry was navigating its way through the Covid-19 pandemic.

The two organisations worked closely to deliver fan engagement via activations across the Bulldogs’ digital platforms, which will continue to be a key driver of the partnership over the next four years.

“We’re pleased to be renewing our partnership with McDonald’s and continuing the strong foundation we’ve built over the last three years,” said Bulldogs’ CEO Ameet Bains.

“McDonald’s has not only been a strong supporter of the Bulldogs, but the game of AFL in general.

“Our members and fans have been able to gain value from the various activations the Club has helped partner with Macca’s, particularly in the digital space, and we look forward to that continuing over the next four years.”

In 2023, the Club has supported the ‘Macca’s Pre-game Routine’ digital campaign, while Macca’s has partnered with the Club on its ‘One-Day Contract’ digital activation for its Round 17 ‘Kidzmania’ themed round.

Kelly Nardella, Regional Director – South West for McDonald’s Australia said: “Over the past 50 years, McDonald’s has been committed to giving back and supporting the communities we operate in.

“We are proud to extend our partnership with the Western Bulldogs and play our part in helping the Club continue to have a positive impact on people and communities across Victoria.”
