Western Bulldogs captain Marcus Bontempelli has bounced back into the top five of the 2023 AFLCA Champion Player of the Year leaderboard.

Bontempelli earned a perfect 10 votes following his 31 disposals, eight tackles, six clearances and two goals against Sydney, jumping from 10^th to fifth with 66 votes overall.

Ruck Tim English polled four votes after collecting a Club record 60 hit-outs to go with 10 clearances, 22 disposals and four marks, while Tom Liberatore received three votes for a 31-possession, seven-tackle, 11-clearance and one-goal performance.

Aaron Naughton (15 disposals, seven marks, three goals) claimed one vote.
