Key forward Aaron Naughton has received a Round 19 nomination for the JLT Goal of the Year.
The emerging star kicked a ridiculous goal at the start of the third quarter, in Sunday’s impressive win against Fremantle at Marvel Stadium.
Crumbing a Sam Lloyd marking contest, Naughton proceeded to soccer the ball off the ground off his left foot, while wedged in beside the left behind post.
The other two nominations for the week belong to Sydney’s Jordan Dawson and West Coast’s Willie Rioli.
You can vote for Naughton’s goal by visiting goaloftheyear.afl.
Voting closes on Thursday night. By voting, you go into the draw to win $10,000.
The 2019 JLT Goal of the Year award winner will be announced at the 2019 Brownlow Medal Count. The player that wins the 2019 JLT Goal of the Year will receive $10,000.
