The Western Bulldogs have added Lachie McNeil to their starting lineup for Saturday night’s Sir Doug Nicholls Round clash against Gold Coast.

McNeil has been used as the substitute in the last three matches, including last weekend when he replaced Jason Johannisen (hamstring) midway through the third quarter.

Johannisen will be sidelined for at least the next two months, and is the Bulldogs’ only out this week.

Saturday’s match will also mark Rory Lobb’s 150th career game.

Lobb arrived at the Kennel at the end of last year, after 74 games with GWS and 66 games with Fremantle.

He has played nine of a possible 10 matches this season, and has been named to start in the forward pocket.

The four emergencies are Mitch Hannan, Alex Keath, Jordon Sweet and Luke Cleary, with one to be confirmed as this week’s substitute an hour before the bounce.

The Bulldogs will be looking to make it six straight wins when they meet the Suns in the second week of Sir Doug Nicholls Round.

To honour the round, the Bulldogs will again wear Indigenous guernseys designed by Kerrup-Mara Gunditjmara and Yorta Yorta man Jason Walker, inspired by the Lake Condah Possum Skin Cloak.

The game will begin at 7.25pm AEST (6.55pm ACST) at TIO Stadium on Saturday night and be broadcast live via Channel 7, Fox Footy and Kayo Sports.
