The Footscray Bulldogs will participate in a Darwin double-header against the Gold Coast Suns next Saturday afternoon.
Initially scheduled to be played in Queensland, the VFL Dogs and Suns will now go head-to-head from 3pm ACST at TIO Stadium, prior to the Sir Doug Nicholls Round match at 6.55pm ACST.
Gates to TIO Stadium will open 30 minutes before the VFL first bounce, with entry included in valid ticketing for the AFL match.
Both the AFL and VFL Bulldogs will wear the new 2023 Indigenous guernsey, designed by Gunditjmara and Yorta Yorta man Jason Walker.
The VFL Bulldogs will look to refresh with a bye this weekend, following a 34-point defeat to Werribee in round eight.
