With Jordon Sweet (bruised heel) sidelined over the weekend, Darcy assisted Josh Patullo in the ruck – winning 13 hit-outs – and went back late in the game to help steady. He took four strong marks and collected 14 touches in a promising performance.

West was at his pressure-best on Saturday, sticking a game-high six tackles against the Blues. He also snuck forward for an early goal which helped the Dogs’ gain an early buffer.
James O’Donnell

O’Donnell backed up his red, white and blue debut with another impressive performance – considering he hasn’t played footy in nearly three years. He was strong in the air with seven marks and again spent majority of his minutes in defence.

Buku Khamis
13 disposals, five marks, three inside 50s, one goal
Khamis’ consistency and versatility continues to show – collecting 13 disposals and a goal in the win over Carlton. Returned to the state-league after a fortnight on the road with the AFL team and was impactful across the ground.
Mitch Hannan

Hannan’s AFL experience was on show against the Blues, bagging two goals from 14 disposals and five marks. He brought some composure to the game, particularly late when things got close, and played a key role up forward.
Luke Cleary

Cleary found plenty of the footy on Saturday, registering a season-high 24 touches and six marks. Settling in well across half-back, his ability to read the ball well was also on show.
Cody Raak

Raak was also impactful in the air, clunking nine marks from 21 disposals. He used the ball well by foot with 15 kicks and is building into a nice bit of form.
Ryan Gardner

After a slow start coming back from an elbow injury, Gardner has built a strong platform in his time with Footscray. He took a game-high 11 marks – wreaking havoc for opposition forwards – while also claiming 18 possessions.
