Three Western Bulldogs players featured in the AFL Coaches Association MVP votes this week, despite the narrow loss to Essendon.
While Essendon’s Jake Carlisle received top votes for his eight goal performance, both coaches saw Jake Stringer as the best Bulldogs player – earning eight votes.
The young Dog kicked a personal best five goals, alongside ten touches and a goal assist.
Jack Macrae attracted four votes after collecting 32 disposals, seven marks, nine inside 50s and a goal, while captain Ryan Griffen was rewarded with two votes in his return game.
While Tom Liberatore did not receive any votes in this round, the 22-year-old still figures in the top ten of the competition - currently ranked ninth.
