The Western Bulldogs will enter the 2023 campaign as one of the most experienced teams.

With the additions of Rory Lobb (140 games) and Liam Jones (161) during the off-season, as well as past recruits Adam Treloar (212), Josh Bruce (155) and Taylor Duryea (172), the Bulldogs rank fifth in terms of average number of games played.

Treloar is the most experienced on the list, and one of 15 Dogs with 100 or more games under their belts.

Duryea has the most finals experience (16).  

The average age of the list is 25.3 – sharing the title for the equal-oldest team with Geelong.

Geelong is also ranked first for average games played (92.4), while Hawthorn is ranked last for both average games played (42.6) and average age (22.9).
