Western Bulldogs forward Kirsten McLeod will miss the remainder of AFLW season seven after suffering a broken fibula and syndesmosis injury to her left ankle.
The incident occurred in the opening quarter of the Bulldogs’ round nine AFLW match against West Coast on Saturday.
It was McLeod's first game back in over 570 days after managing ongoing concussion symptoms.
She will undergo surgery this week.
