The Western Bulldogs are taking on St.Kilda at Mars Stadium this Sunday the 16th of October, celebrating inclusion and diversity in our AFLW Pride Round.

With the first bounce at 1:10pm, here's everything you need to know to ensure that you're game day ready.   

Key Match Timings:

Fan Zone starts: 11:00am  

Gate Open: 11:00am 

Team Entry: 12:57pm

First Bounce: 1:10pm   

Matchday Tips:   

Arrive Early: Gates will open at 11:00AM with the AFLW match between the Western Bulldogs and St Kilda starting at 1:10PM. To avoid potential delays entering the stadium please give yourself ample time to get into the game.   

Curtain Raiser: Starting from 11:00AM a curtain raiser match will take place between two proactive community clubs within the inclusion space; Kynton FNC and Mt Alexander Falcons.  
 
Bulldog Pride March To Mars: Join Bulldog Pride and the local community in a march to Mars Stadium before the game on Sunday. Marshalling at Selkirk Stadium from 11:20am (on outdoor courts). March commences at 11:40am. Following footpath along Norman Street, then right along Creswick Road (see map below) Participants to enter via Gate 1 (will require to have valid ticket to match) at approximately midday. 


 
Fan Zone: Located on the netball court behind the Western Stand fans will find a range of kid's activities, games and giveaways to get involved with, including a range of Pride themed entertainment.

Bulldogs Shop: For your chance to grab the latest Western Bulldogs Pride gear visit our Bulldogs Shop, inside gate 1.  

Getting to Mars Stadium: 

Train  

V/line options to Ballarat or Wendouree are available from Southern Cross Station. For all timetables and live updates visit the V/Line or Public Transport Victoria websites.   

Bus  

Free shuttles bus services depart from Ballarat Railway Station Bus Terminal on game day, running on a continuous loop to Mars Stadium. For all timetables and live updates visit the V/Line or Public Transport Victoria websites.  

Car  

Drivers are urged to utilise the hundreds of parking spaces available at C.E Brown Reserve and surrounding ovals. These parking spaces can be accessed from Dowling Street. Patrons will have access to gate 1 via a short walk. Accessible parking will be available at the North Ballarat Sports Club, which can be accessed via Creswick Road.   

Angled parking will be available in Norman Street, and limited parking will also be available at the Ballarat Showgrounds (access via Creswick Road). Footy-goers are also encouraged to take advantage of the car parks available at Midlands Golf Club in Heinz Lane and catch the free shuttle bus to Mars Stadium. 

In Stadium Entertainment: 

Pre-Game 

Joint Banner: After the team songs, both AFLW teams will be entering through a joint banner to celebrate diversity and inclusion as part of Pride Round.  

¼ Time 

Live Pride Performance- Be in your seats at quarter time for a live Pride performance from Abril LaTrene.  

Half-time 

Pride Lap of Honour: Show your support as our pride groups and communities partake in a lap of honour around the Mars Stadium playing field. 

¾ Time  

Pride Story: Hear from a member of our pride group about their journey and the importance of Pride Round.

Member Access - Digital Membership Cards   

AFLW tickets are $10, and there will be free entry for AFLW members using their digital membership card. Purchase or redeem tickets here

We understand and acknowledge that not all members own a smartphone device and will be concerned about how to access Mars Stadium.

Please note members will not be able to scan into Mars Stadium using the traditional plastic card. These cards have been issued as keepsakes, with all stadiums moving to digital ticketing and scan-in for the upcoming season.
