Western Bulldogs vice-captain Marcus Bontempelli has continued his impressive start to the season, again leading the way in the coaches’ votes on Friday night.
After polling a perfect 10 in the Bulldogs’ round three loss to Gold Coast, Bontempelli polled nine against Collingwood on Friday night.
It sees the 23-year-old sit atop the leaderboard with 34 votes, five clear of Carlton’s Patrick Cripps.
Bontempelli’s tally is the equal most of any player over the first four rounds of the season – alongside Nick Dal Santo (2009) and Joel Selwood (2014).
