The Western Bulldogs will continue its strong alliance with Lifeline Australia, through a second successive match-day dedicated to suicide prevention and mental health.

This week’s Round 22 game between the Bulldogs and the Giants is a dedicated game for Lifeline, raising awareness through the ‘We’re all mental health supporters’ campaign.

The initiative encourages all Australians, including footy fans, to show their support for a cause that has a big impact on our communities.

At work, closer to home, in the stadium, and even on the field, there are Australians struggling with their mental health.

Lifeline provides all Australians with access to crisis support and suicide prevention services 24-hours a day, seven days a week.  It currently field over 3000 calls per day.

"We are calling on everyone to get behind the We're All Mental Health Supporters campaign, to stand up and show their true colours and help fund a Lifeline crisis supporter to be there for those who need it most,” said Lifeline Australia CEO Colin Seery.

"Lifeline is there, ready to listen over the phone, webchat or via text, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the support of the Bulldogs, the AFL and everyone who loves footy means we can ensure nobody in Australia has to face their darkest moments alone."

The Bulldogs and Lifeline have partnered with Lifeline Australia over the last two seasons, with the Club also supporting the Push-Up Challenge, an initiative designed to raise funds and shine a light on suicide prevention.

With a $39 donation, you can help fund a Lifeline crisis supporter to assist people in need.

Lifeline has also created a Supporters’ Care Kit - a guide explaining how to be there for someone who needs it most.
