A squad of 25-players for the Western Bulldogs Women’s Team second exhibition match has been named, with six changes from the squad that faced Melbourne earlier in the year.

Led by captain Steph Chiocci, the Women’s Team will play Western Australia in a curtain-raiser to the Round 11 AFL clash between the Western Bulldogs and West Coast Eagles at Etihad Stadium.

Star forward Katie Brennan returns to the side after missing the earlier season match through injury, while Emma Kearney will make her return after missing the clash at Highgate Oval due to her Women’s BBL cricket commitments with the Melbourne Stars.

Brennan kicked four goal in her last appearance for the Bulldogs last year, and took out the 2015 Susan Alberti Award as the Club’s Women’s Team best and fairest player.

Darebin Falcons teammates Nicole Callinan and Rebecca Privitelli both come into the squad, called up out of the Victoria Women’s Football Academy.

Tasmanian midfielder Emma Humphries and key forward Elyse Gamble will also make their first appearance in Bulldogs colours for 2016.

Humphries played in the Bulldogs side in last year’s exhibition match series, while for Gamble, this will be her first time in an AFL Women’s Team squad.

Rachel Gastin, Hayley Wildes, Kirby Kicks, Shae Audley and Pheobe McWilliams all come out of the squad that secured the Club’s maiden women’s exhibition match win earlier this year.

The squad of 25 will be cut to a final team of 22 and one emergency on Thursday 3 June, ahead of the exhibition match on Saturday 5 June.

The match will start 12:30pm, with tickets available via Ticketmaster. Tickets for the 5 June match day will entitle the holder to access to both the Western Bulldogs' women's exhibition match and the Round 11 AFL clash.
