Western Bulldogs young gun Bailey Smith, skipper Marcus Bontempelli and All Australian defender Bailey Dale have polled coaches’ votes in round four against Richmond.

Smith was prolific in the midfield, registering 36 disposals, seven marks, five inside 50s and 644 metres gained to earn five votes.

It takes him to a total of 16 votes from three games.

Bontempelli received four votes for his efforts, leading by example with 33 disposals, eight clearances, seven inside 50s and a goal, while Dale polled one vote for his 31-disposal and eight-mark display in the backline.

Richmond’s Shai Bolton, Jayden Short, Marlion Pickett and Tom Lynch rounded out the votes.

Carlton captain Patrick Cripps sits in first spot with 25 votes overall.
