Defender Ellyse Gamble will play her first match of the 2022 season against Geelong at VU Whitten Oval on Friday night.

Gamble will start in the half-back line, after overcoming an ankle injury she sustained following the practice match last year.

She is one of two inclusions, with midfielder Elle Bennetts also returning to the action.

Having missed the last two games with a calf injury, Bennetts will line up on the half-forward flank.

Bennetts and Gamble will replace Aurora Smith (ACL) and Brooke Lochland (concussion) in the team that defeated Adelaide last weekend.

Amanda Ling and Annabel Strahan have been named as the emergencies.

The first bounce will be at 7.10pm AEDT tomorrow night, with the Bulldogs looking to make it three consecutive wins.

The match will be broadcast live on Fox Footy, with score updates also available via @BulldogsW on FacebookTwitter and Instagram.
