Scans have confirmed Western Bulldogs forward Travis Cloke suffered broken ribs during last night's game against North Melbourne.

Cloke left the field during the fourth quarter, and was taken to hospital after the match.

He will continue to be assessed, and is expected to miss the next 4-6 weeks.

Tom Boyd, who also failed to complete the game against the Kangaroos due to delayed concussion, will be assessed during the week before a decision is made on his availability for Round 5.
