The Western Bulldogs’ push towards 50,000 members in 2022 has reached an early milestone, with the Club ticking over the 30,000 barrier this week.
It’s the first time in the Bulldogs’ history that the 30,000 mark has been reached prior to Christmas.
The Club built strong momentum during the 2021 AFL season in its barnstorming run to the Grand Final, and is already on track to surpass its membership records in AFLW and Ballarat categories.
The Bulldogs achieved their second highest ever membership tally in 2021, with 46,541 being made of Red, White and Blue.
The Club has its sights set on the all-time record of 47,709, which was set in 2017 in the year after its drought-breaking AFL premiership.
After two consecutive seasons which were significantly impacted by the covid-19 pandemic, members will be able to return to a reserved seat in 2022, with over 5000 taking this option already.
Dogs fans can become a member in 2022 for as little as $7.50 per month for an AFLW membership, and as little as $9.50 per month for an AFL membership.
