The Footscray Bulldogs have named a strong 27-man squad to face Williamstown in the VFL on Sunday, as they search for back-to-back wins to start the season.

The two sides will face off for the first time since becoming stand-alone sides at Burbank Oval, with Footscray boasting 16 senior and rookie listed Bulldogs in the mix.

Footscray began their season in fine form against Richmond last week posting a 117 point victory, while the Seagulls have been held winless after two rounds.

The Bulldogs will go head to head with the Seagulls at Burbank Oval on Sunday from 2pm.
