Chris Grant has overseen the Bulldogs’ football department as head of football since mid-2016.

His appointment recognised the rapid growth of the department, which now includes AFL, AFLW, VFL and VFLW programs, plus a Next Generation Academy.

Grant was one of the Bulldogs’ most decorated players, featuring at AFL level in 341 matches from 1990 to 2007.

He is a two-time Charles Sutton Medallist, three-time All-Australian and former Club captain (2000-2004). Grant holds Legend status in the Western Bulldogs’ Hall of Fame and is an AFL Hall of Fame member.

Prior to becoming head of football, Grant served as non-executive football director for over four years, and accumulated valuable management experience through involvement in retail operations, commercial property development and senior operations management roles with the Spotless Group.
