Experienced pair Josh Dunkley and Easton Wood will return for Saturday’s match against the Adelaide Crows in Ballarat.
Dunkley missed last week’s game after being forced into home quarantine, while Wood will play his first game at AFL level since round nine.
The defender suffered a hamstring injury against Port Adelaide, then injured his ankle returning through the VFL.
But after a strong run in a scratch match last week, Wood is an important addition for the Bulldogs.
Last week’s medical sub, Anthony Scott, has been elevated into the starting 22.
Making way from the team are a trio of defenders – Alex Keath, Ed Richards and Taylor Duryea.
Keath (hamstring) and Richards (concussion) were both injured in last week’s win against Melbourne, while Duryea has been managed.
The emergencies are Lachie McNeil, Pat Lipinski, Lewis Young and Hayden Crozier.
One will be confirmed as the medical sub an hour before the first bounce.
The match at Mars Stadium will unfortunately be played in front of no crowd.
Fox Footy will broadcast the game live.
