The Western Bulldogs’ Round 14 clash with Geelong will be played in front of an empty stadium, the AFL announced tonight.

In line with Victorian Government advice, the match at GMBA Stadium will remain a 7.50pm start on Friday June 18, with fans unable to attend.

On Monday evening the AFL revealed that two other games scheduled for Melbourne this weekend (hosted by North Melbourne and Hawthorn) would be relocated to Tasmania.

The decision to keep the Geelong vs Bulldogs match at GMHBA Stadium was made in close consultation with the Cats, and was in line with their preference not to move the game.

Only five matches will be played in Round 14, with eight teams having the bye.
