A determined performance from the Western Bulldogs has seen them run out 13-point victors against Richmond at VU Whitten Oval, in the final round of the 2021 AFLW season.
The Bulldogs started the stronger of the two sides, opening up a three-goal lead at half-time.
A fightback from the Tigers reduced the hosts’ lead to just seven points at the final change, but the Bulldogs found one last charge to win 7.3 (45) to 5.2 (32).
It gives the Bulldogs a 5-4 win-loss record for the season and an undefeated record on their home turf this season.
Kirsty Lamb and Brooke Lochland were the two most influential players on the ground for the Bulldogs, finishing the night with 23 disposals and a goal a piece.
Skipper Ellie Blackburn enjoyed another fine night after an early ankle scare, finishing with 20 disposals and six tackles, while emerging defender Eleanor Brown continued her breakout season with a 19-disposal night.
Kirsten McLeod was again dangerous inside 50, kicking two goals, while Nell Morris-Dalton snared her first major at AFLW level.
