Whitten Oval played host to the next generation of AFL stars this morning, as the AIS-AFL Academy visited the Club’s elite training facilities on day one of their Melbourne training camp.
The visit saw Western Bulldog legend Brad Johnson return to Whitten Oval as part of the coaching panel of the AIS-AFL Academy.
A hand-picked crop of the Australia’s best 16 and 17 year olds football talent, the AIS-AFL squad was given access to the Mission Elite Learning Centre and Whitten Oval facilities as part of their first training camp of 2012.
This morning’s training session also gave Western Bulldogs recruiters an early firsthand look at some of the nation’s best talent in preparation for the 2012 AFL National Draft.
