Star midfielder Adam Treloar is locked in to face Collingwood on Friday night.
The off-season recruit had his red, white and blue debut confirmed on Wednesday morning, with good mate Josh Dunkley revealing the news in front of the playing group.
Treloar has overcome a niggling calf injury to face his former side.
The 28-year-old played two-and-a-half quarters in a VFL match last week Monday, collecting 19 disposals in an impressive display.
He has trained strongly since then to prove his fitness.
“I’m just really excited to get back out there, playing footy, playing in front of a crowd and being able to play for my new footy club is something I’m extremely excited about,” Treloar told Fox Footy’s AFL360 earlier this week.
“I do have a fire in my belly.
“I want this to be my best year. I want to show my stuff. I want people to want to come and watch the Western Bulldogs and watch me play.
“Physically, I’m at the peak of my powers. I feel like I can add a lot to the group and I feel like I can play my best footy going forward.”
Treloar has played 173 AFL games since making his AFL debut in 2012 – 79 for the GWS Giants and 94 for Collingwood.
He has averaged 28 disposals, 4.9 tackles and 4.7 clearances per game across his career.
