The inaugural AFLW Indigenous guernseys worn by the Western Bulldogs in Saturday’s 25-point win over GWS will be auctioned off this week.
The guernsey celebrates ‘coming together as one’, and has a strong focus on female empowerment, and the importance of reaching a goal and moving forward in life.
Part of the proceeds will be donated to a local Indigenous program chosen by 18-year-old Aboriginal artist and designer Ky-Ya Nicholson-Ward.
Painted boots worn by Izzy Huntington, Ash Guest and Katie Lynch during Saturday’s match will also be auctioned off.
