Last time they met: W.B. (5.4 34) def Geelong (2.4 16), Round 2, 2019 at VU Whitten Oval
While the Western Bulldogs and Geelong went head-to-head in a practice match last year, the last time they played against one another for premiership points was back in February 2019. Reigning premiers at the time, the Bulldogs’ three-goal second term blitz proved the difference in the game, while keeping the Cats scoreless in both the second and fourth quarters. Ellie Blackburn was impactful with 18 disposals, eight tackles and a goal, followed closely behind by Kirsty Lamb (18 touches, five tackles). Hannah Scott and Lauren Spark stood tall in defence.
