Mitch Hannan will pull on the red, white and blue in 2021.
The 26-year-old forward has been secured by the Western Bulldogs in a trade with Melbourne, in exchange for its 2021 future round three selection.
Hannan has signed a two-year contract with the Bulldogs.
“We’re excited to have Mitch return to our club,” General Manager of List and Recruiting, Sam Power, said.
“He was drafted from our VFL program in 2016 and over the past four seasons has established himself as a dangerous forward at AFL level.
“Mitch is a versatile player who can contribute in a variety of roles.
“Primarily, we see him being able to add to our forward mix with his speed, tackle pressure and ability to impact the scoreboard.”
Hannan played 50 AFL games for the Demons between 2017-20, kicking 55 goals.
He was drafted as a mature-aged player with pick 46 in the 2016 NAB AFL Draft from Footscray, having featured in the Bulldogs’ 2016 VFL premiership side under now-forwards coach Ash Hansen.
