Western Bulldogs stars Marcus Bontempelli, Caleb Daniel and Jack Macrae have all been named in the 2020 AFL All Australian Team.
All three have enjoyed exceptional home-and-away seasons to help the Bulldogs play finals football for the second year running.
In his first year as the Bulldogs’ skipper, Bontempelli has thrived in the role and earned his third All Australian selection.
The 24-year-old was named on a half-forward flank, adding to his 2016 and 2019 honours.
Bontempelli has averaged 20.9 disposals per game and also made an impact forward, with 11 goals.
Ball magnet Macrae has become a back-to-back All Australian player, adding a 2020 guernsey to his 2019 honour.
The 26-year-old was named on a wing.
Macrae finished the home-and-away season with 455 disposals – second in the AFL – to make a significant contribution in the Bulldogs’ midfield.
Influential defender Daniel has capped a career-best year with his maiden All Australian call-up.
Touted as one of the game’s best kicks, the 24-year-old has been named on the interchange bench.
Daniel is the game’s number-one ranked general defender, according to AFL Player Ratings, averaging 19.8 disposals per match.
