Midfield stars Jack Macrae and Marcus Bontempelli were both among the coaches’ votes, in Monday night’s loss to Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.
The Power won the clash by 13 points on the back of a dominant third quarter.
But that didn’t stop Macrae from continuing his push up the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award leader board.
Macrae – and Power young gun Zak Butters – led the way on the night with seven votes.
That takes the Bulldog’s season tally to 37, now equal fourth, early in round 10.
Again, Macrae was the leading ball-winner on the ground, collecting 27 disposals on the night to go with seven tackles and five clearances.
Bontempelli and his opposition skipper, Tom Jonas, each collected four votes, with the Bulldogs’ captain collecting 22 disposals and eight clearances.
Peter Ladhams and Tom Clurey picked up three votes with each, while Charlie Dixon rounded out the voting with two.
