Season 2012 was spent predominantly on the sidelines for Dale Morris as he worked tirelessly to overcome a persistent leg injury endured at the end of 2011. One thing that cannot be denied is his resilience and optimism through the testing period. After playing a quarter of football with the VFL Reserves in April, Morris was forced back into the rehab group with a stress fracture. Morris has been working hard to set himself up for a big pre-season ahead of 2013.

Morris has already been busy in the gym during the player break, eager to re-join the main playing group when the official pre-season training starts. Gaining confidence in his running gait will be a focus this pre-season, followed by re-familiarising himself with defensive craft.
