The East-West Club Supporter Group, the largest of the Western Bulldogs supporter groups held its annual Family Day on Saturday 17th January 2009 at Wesley College, Glen Waverley.

This unique day on the supporter group calendar was a fantastic opportunity for over 600 supporters to see the 2009 Western Bulldogs playing group during a light pre-season training session. This family friendly day offered a bbq, breakfast, face painting and a special appearance from club mascot Woofer.

Coach Rodney Eade spoke to attendees about the successful pre-season training, and introduced new members of the team Jamason Daniels, Chris Ogle, Liam Picken, Ayce Cordy, Liam Jones and Jordan Roughead. Eade followed his speech by taking questions from the crowd answering on topics such as the deliberate rushed behind rule.

The Western Bulldogs are surging towards their target of 30,000 members in 2009 and encourage all Bulldogs supporters to get on board as the team strives for success.
