Boxer Anthony Mundine shared his tips on how to psych out an opponent when he visited the Elite Learning Centre at Whitten Oval on Thursday.
Mundine in town for his super middleweight clash against Sam Soliman at Vodafone Arena on 28th May and was keen to meet some of the Bulldogs.
Surrounded by his entourage Mundine toured the new ELC facility and chatted to the playing group while watching several undergo their regular weights programs.
Senior Coach Rodney Eade also spoke with Mundine who expressed interest in their training programs.
"Its always great for the players to meet someone who is involved at the top level of their sport and provide them with an insight into how others go about their training whatever the sport is," he said.
Mundine spent much of the time at the facility chatting to the Bulldogs indigenous players, Malcolm Lynch, Jarrod Harbrow, Brennan Stack and Josh Hill.
"It was great to speak to him as he's very passionate about where he's come from and so are we. He was really interested in how things are for us as a professional indigenous footballer," Hill said.
Despite encouragement from members of the playing group no Bulldog was up for the challenge of going head to head with Mundine.
"Not a chance, the medical staff would kill us if we got injured," one said.
