The Western Bulldogs and Western Region Football League are pleased to announce a further strengthening of the partnership between these two iconic institutions in the western region of Melbourne.

As the Community Club of the AFL, the Western Bulldogs are committed to grass roots football through the continued promotion of Auskick and within our Bulldogs Friendly Schools program.

Within the WRFL, the Bulldogs are extremely proud of the long association and in particular the Club’s instrumental support of the new Point Cook Football Club that proudly wear the Bulldogs Red, White & Blue.

The western region of Melbourne truly represents the Bulldogs back yard and the Western Bulldogs are committed to continuing to partner with, and supporting key organisations in the west such as the WRFL.

As a new tenant at the redeveloped Whitten Oval, the WRFL join other well-respected community organisations such as Early Childhood Management Services (“ECMS”) as operator  of the Bulldogs Community Children's Centre, Victoria University and medical services provider PhysioPlus Footscray.

Together with the community training and conference rooms, the soon-to-be-complete Club Community Sports Hall and the balance of landscaping, the Whitten Oval is truly becoming a Community hub for the entire western region.

The Club congratulates the WRFL on choosing Whitten Oval for its head office operations and administration centre for the western region, remaining in its original heartland of the City of Maribyrnong.
