Season Overview:
Hard-nut Andrew Hooper had a good season in the VFL playing for Williamstown but was unable to cement a regular spot in the senior side. Dividing his time between the forward line and the back six, Hooper’s versatility was put to good use throughout the season.
By the Numbers:
Proving dangerous around the forward line for the Seagulls, Hooper kicked 16 goals this year as well as 13 goal assists and 46 inside 50s. The 21 year old also played one game in the senior Bulldogs line-up this season against Richmond collecting ten disposals at 80% efficiency, one goal, two inside 50s and two one percenters.
Season Highlight:
Named amongst the best in Williamstown’s win over Sandringham in round five, Hooper had an equal game high three goals for the day. Hooper had maximum impact from his 14 touches, taking four marks and laying four tackles for the day.
