The Western Bulldogs today confirmed the following changes to the Club’s 2012 playing list following the completion of the home-and-away season.

James Mulligan, Brodie Moles and Andrew Hooper have all been advised by the Club that they will not be offered positions on the list for the 2013 season.

“We would like to thank these players for the contribution to the Club, and wish them all the very best for the future,” said General Manager of Football James Fantasia.

Hooper made his debut in the Bulldogs 2010 semi-final clash against Sydney after being elevated off the rookie list earlier that year.

The defensive small forward, who was initially recruited from North Ballarat Rebels, went on to kick seven goals in his seven AFL career games.

Initially recruited from Geelong, Moles was picked up on the Bulldogs rookie list ahead of the 2010 season, with the midfielder playing 13 senior games that year including 26 disposals, six marks and four tackles in round five against Adelaide.

Injury prevented him from making an impact in Season 2011 but the 26 year old has gone on to play an integral part of the Williamstown VFL line-up, including featuring in their current finals campaign.

Versatile tall James Mulligan played three senior games for the Bulldogs after being recruited as a first round selection (pick no. 4 overall) in the 2008 AFL Rookie Draft.

Later elevated to the senior list, the Queensland product played five games with VFL affiliate Williamstown this season before enduring a season ending achillies injury.

Veterans Lindsay Gilbee and Ryan Hargrave announced their retirement prior to the end of the 2012 home and away season, after playing 206 and 203 games respectively in careers spanning 13 years at the Kennel.
