Round 5: Western Bulldogs v Carlton 2:10pm, Docklands

This week we welcome back Robert Murphy to the team, while we celebrate the success of coach Rodney Eade, who is due to become the seventh person in the history of the game to both play and then coach 250 games.

Thank you to the 25,000 plus game day members who have signed up for 2009, we're looking forward to sharing a successful 2009 with you.

As it is expected to be a very busy week leading up to Round five Western Bulldogs v Carlton, please take note of important match day information by reading this full article.

IMPORTANT – Membership Card information

Recently renewed Western Bulldogs members have been experiencing delays in receiving membership cards. This delay has been caused by the external mail house utilised by the Club and by circumstances beyond the control of the Western Bulldogs.

Although this affects a small a small number of members, the Western Bulldogs are working to alleviate the situation by emailing electronic tickets to members, to assist with ease of entry at this week’s match at Docklands against Carlton.

If you have recently signed up as a member and are yet to receive your membership card, please contact Membership Services on 1300 GO DOGS (46 36 47) to discuss the best way to enter the Round 5 match.

The Western Bulldogs apologises for any inconvenience caused. The Club has consulted with the mail house to ensure that business commences as usual as soon as possible and reviewing the situation to prevent this delay from occurring again.

Paper Ticket Collection:

Should you fall into the category noted above where you require a paper ticket and are unable to access your electronic ticket, please visit the Membership marquees located at Gates 5 & 7 and the Bourke Street Footbridge at Docklands; marquees will open from 12noon on match day. As we are expecting a large crowd for Round five, it is recommended you allow enough time to visit a Membership marquee prior to the first bounce at 2.10pm to ensure you do not miss any of the match.

Cap, Scarf and Junior Pack Collection:

Membership redemption vouchers can be redeemed at membership marquees Gates 5 & 7 and the Bourke Street Footbridge at Docklands. Collections can only be made upon presentation of your voucher.  Please note a limited number of Ladies Pashmina’s are available, once the allocation has been exhausted, 2009 membership caps will be available.

Social Club:

Entry is free for all Social Club members by presenting their 2009 membership card only (please note Social Club key rings are not a valid form of entry) and guests are more than welcome however a small fee will apply, $20 adults & $10 concession & juniors. Social Club is located on Level 1 in the Victory Room. And all Social Club members are invited to attend the after-match function post-match this Sunday.
Merchandise:

Limited 2009 Merchandise range will be on sale inside Gate 7 at Docklands and on the Bourke Street Footbridge (up to 10 minutes after the final siren). Cash, credit card and EFTPOS will be accepted.
