Club Medical Services Manager, Andrew McKenzie said Dahlhaus will require a minimum four-week rehabilitation period which will see him miss the remainder of the season.

“Luke sustained an injury to his left ankle at training and was sent for precautionary x-rays which were clear,” McKenzie said.

“The following day, further swelling appeared and the decision was made for Luke to have an MRI.”

“The MRI revealed a tear in Luke’s ankle which requires a 4-6 week rehabilitation period.”

General Manager of Football, James Fantasia said Dahlhaus will bounce back from this minor set-back.

“Luke has had another terrific season, emerging as a very important member of our team,” Fantasia said.

“While it is disappointing for both Luke and the Club, we are confident he will rehabilitate his injury with great attention to detail ahead of the 2013 pre-season campaign.”
