After a year of respite, reflection and planning in 2008, Women of the West (WOW) are back with a full calendar of events and experiences in 2009.

To kick off our new beginning and coincide with Mother’s Day, WOW invites you to come along to a special screening of talented writer, director and local identity Sarah Watt’s latest film My Year Without Sex.

Quoted as being ‘a kind of a love story about all the big questions, and even more of the small ones’ the film is the perfect opportunity to get the Women of the West together to celebrate another woman’s success story.
  
So why not come along, enjoy a glass of bubbly and some popcorn and treat your mum to a night out on her special day.

To celebrate the AFL Women’s Round (Round 11), Women of the West will host their second event at Whitten Oval on Thursday 4th June; join us for an exclusive inner sanctum Breakfast to celebrate the role of women in the Western Bulldogs Football Club.

Time: 7.00am - 9.00am

Cost: $50 for WOW members, $60 for Western Bulldog members & $75 for non members
