It seems that Western Bulldogs fans have been buoyed by the early form of Adam Cooney with the damaging midfielder making a big impact early in Season 2010.

Cooney was again in fine form on Sunday against the Hawks picking up 27 possessions, including 7 clearances.

And Bulldog fans are optimistic that Cooney can continue his great start to the Season and possibly even sneak into Brownlow contention later in the year.

Following an injury interrupted pre season in 2009, Cooney enjoyed a relatively smooth preparation this time around and it looks to be paying dividends on the field.

His performances are building each week and there is plenty of reason for Bulldogs fans to be excited about Cooney’s form so far.

Our midfield is stacked with talented players like Matthew Boyd, Daniel Cross and Ryan Griffen and Cooney’s explosive speed and power have helped the Club create one of the most dangerous midfields in the competition.

While the team’s performance is always the focus, Bulldogs fans clearly believe Cooney rightly remains one of the favourites for the Brownlow Medal.

In this week’s poll we are asking, who is the Club’s most valuable midfielder.
