FOOTBALL IN GENERAL
What club did you support growing up?
Geelong. I lived down there, and my family all barracked for Geelong.

Using one word, how would you describe the life of an AFL footballer?
Different.

What is your favourite team to play against and why?
Collingwood, because they draw a big crowd and it's always good beating Collingwood. It was also the first team I played against.

Is the game becoming too fast?
I don't think it's becoming too fast, but it's definitely becoming a lot quicker. I guess it's just going to get quicker too, as the years go on.

What is your favourite football memory?
It would have to be my first game against Collingwood on a Friday night at the MCG. We lost, and that was disappointing, but it was still good to get the first game.

What would you call the new Gold Coast and West Sydney team if you had naming power?
I've got no idea. The Gold Coast Titans and the West Sydney Roosters?

If you could be any other player, who would you be?
Gary Ablett. At the moment, he's the best player in the league.

THE TEAM
Who's the most annoying player to room with when you go interstate, and why?

Ryan Griffen, because I room with him all the time and he's just sick of it.

What's the funniest prank any of your teammates have played on you?
It wasn't on me, but once the guys took the wheel off one of the player's cars and stuck it in his locker. That was up there.

Who considers himself the most fashionable at the club?
Danny-G [Daniel Giansiracusa]. He thinks he's pretty fashionable but I don't know about that.

Who would be the most unfashionable?
Will Minson. He wears some pretty horrendous kit.

Who's got the best singing voice?
Robert Murphy. I don't know if he's the best but he certainly thinks he is.

What's an amusing fact about one of your teammates that not many people know?
Everybody probably knows it but Will Minson talks about six different languages, plays six different instruments, and is saving the world.

If you had to pick one of your teammates to take on a date, who would it be?
Ryan Griffen, because he's one of my better mates and people think we're together anyway so it would be a nice date. I'd take him out for dinner so we could chat.

What's the funniest Rocket moment you can think of?
There's been a few but he's funny when he sends guys to do 400's in the middle of training, and there's been plenty on game day but I don't want to say too many in case he reads it.

AT HOME
Who do you live with?
Lindsay Gilbee.

Who does the cooking?
I do the cooking and he does the cleaning, so it works pretty well.

How are you in the kitchen?
I'm not too bad, but I look good compared to Lindsay because he doesn't have a lot to offer.

If you were having Rodney Eade around for dinner, what would you cook?
A risotto, because that's what I've been cooking a fair bit of late.

What's your most used appliance and why?
Does a television count? There's plenty of television action at our place. We live by Foxtel.

Do you have any pets?
No pets.

What is your most annoying habit?
Biting my fingernails.

RANDOM QUESTIONS
Are you generally a cat or dog person?

Dog. I hate cats.

If you were stuck on a desert island, what three things would you want with you?
Three of my teammates – Ryan Griffen, Lindsay Gilbee and Tommy Williams – because we'd get up to a fair bit of mischief.

What's your ideal holiday spot?
Anywhere with a beach and good weather.

What's your idea of a perfect day?
Sleep in, nice breakfast, and then lie by the pool.

What action hero would you most like to be, and why?
Superman, because then I could fly, but I also wouldn't mind being able to read minds and find out what people are thinking. That could be very handy on the footy field.

What sort of car do you drive?
A Nissan Murano.

What's the most embarrassing song on your I-Pod?
'Aker's got the worst I-Pod, that's for sure, but my I-Pod … probably something by Britney Spears. I don't mind her latest song, though.
