Bulldogs trade Reid to Giants
The Western Bulldogs today confirmed they have agreed to trade midfielder Sam Reid to the Greater Western Sydney Giants.
In return for 21 year-old Reid, the Bulldogs will receive an additional compensation pick.
Reid is the first player to be traded by the Club during the 2011 player exchange period.
The second Bulldogs player to go to the Giants - this trade was made possible as it was agreed to by the Dogs.
Reid came to the Bulldogs with the Club’s third round selection in the 2007 NAB AFL National Draft, drafted 35 overall from Zillmere in Queensland.
Debuting for the Bulldogs in 2008, Reid played 10 games for the Club over an injury marred four seasons at the Whitten Oval.
